I hope everyone is having a good Fathers’ day, today is a my dad’s birthday as well so it is a double celebration. This morning we went out for dim sum and when we went to pick up my grandparents, I saw my new little baby cousin. She was born two days ago on the 19th in the early morning. She was so adorable I just felt like holding her for a long time just to feel her weight and warmth. I love how babies feel and that smell they have that is just so uniquely theirs.
Recently my boyfriend purchased a new ring for my birthday coming up in July. I have known about his plan for the last month or two and have been excitedly waiting its arrival. Unfortunately for me, even though it has been purchased I wouldn’t be able to get it until August when I see him.
I am sick of projects, papers and assignments. I know this term was supposed to be hard but having two papers, a summary, project work and an exam all in one week is ridiculous. This week marks the middle of my term and my teacher said she couldn’t believe it has been six weeks already. I can believe it. I feel half dead and zombie like that I don’t even recall what I did. This week all I had planned was a quiz ( really exams but they try to make it sound like it isn’t worth 25% when it is), project work and group work. I never would have imagined myself looking at that and feeling like this is going to be a relaxing/less stressful week.
